一、本所研究生入學、修課、考試及畢業等相關事項，依本校學則及本要點辦理。

1. Matters relating to graduate students' admission, course enrollment, examinations, and graduation shall be handled in accordance with the University's academic regulations and these Regulations.

二、本所招收對象包括一般生、在職生及國際學生，相關入學招生規定悉依本校簡章公告。

2. This Institute admits regular students, in-service students, and international students; relevant admission and recruitment regulations shall follow the University's published admission guidelines.

      本所研究生修業年限以一至四年為限。在職進修研究生未於規定修業期限修滿應修課程或未完成學位論文者，因特殊需要得酌予延長修業期限，但以一年為限。

The study period for graduate students of this Institute is limited to one to four years. In-service graduate students who fail to complete the required courses or the degree thesis within the prescribed study period may, due to special needs, be granted an extension of the study period, limited to one additional year.

三、本所課程分為「核心必修課程」及「選修課程」，研究生須於修業年限修滿本所規定之畢業學分。

3. Courses of this Institute are divided into “Core Required Courses” and “Elective Courses.” Graduate students must complete the graduation credits prescribed by this Institute within the study period.

四、修課規定：

4. Course-taking regulations:

（一）研究生第一學年每學期所修學分數，不得少於6學分，不得多於24學分，第一學年如欲跨所選修校內外課程，其課程內容須與本所教學目標相符，再提出申請，經所長同意後始得承認列入畢業學分；第二學年起須經指導教授同意，並經所長簽核後方屬有效。惟遇特殊個案時，得另在所務會議中審議之。

(1) In each semester of the first academic year, graduate students must take no fewer than 6 credits and no more than 24 credits. If a first-year student wishes to cross-register for elective courses at other institutes/departments within or outside the University, the course content must align with this Institute's educational objectives, and an application must be submitted and approved by the Director before the credits may be counted toward graduation. From the second academic year onward, such cross-registration requires the approval of the advising professor and the countersignature of the Director to be valid. However, special cases may be reviewed separately at an Institute Affairs Meeting.

（二）第二學年每學期至少選修一門本所選修課。

(2) From the second academic year onward, students must take at least one elective course offered by this Institute each semester.

（三）畢業最低總學分數為37學分，其中至少含必修22學分。

(3) The minimum total number of credits required for graduation is 37 credits, of which at least 22 must be required (core) credits.

五、本所研究生須於第一學年第一學期末前提出指導教授申請，指導教授之確認須經所長簽核後，繳交指導教授申請單至所辦公室存查。第一學年第二學期末提出論文題目申請，並經所務會議審核後，繳交論文題目申請單至所辦公室存查。

5. Graduate students of this Institute must submit an application for an advising professor by the end of the first semester of the first academic year; confirmation of the advising professor requires the Director's countersignature, and the Advising Professor Application Form must be filed with the Institute Office for record. The thesis topic application must be submitted by the end of the second semester of the first academic year and, after review and approval at an Institute Affairs Meeting, the Thesis Topic Application Form must be filed with the Institute Office for record.

六、本所研究生論文題目之決定、修改及內容之撰寫，應接受指導教授之指導並遵循所規定之碩士論文格式規範。如遇有更換指導教授之特殊需要時，研究生須填寫申請書並經原指導教授、新任指導教授及所長同意。

6. The determination and revision of a graduate student's thesis topic, as well as the writing of its content, shall be guided by the advising professor and shall comply with the Institute's prescribed format for master's theses. In the event of a special need to change the advising professor, the graduate student must submit a written application and obtain the consent of the original advising professor, the new advising professor, and the Director.

七、欲抵免學分者，需於新生入學之當學期依本校規定時間提出申請，逾時不予受理，且以申請一次為限 (依註冊組公告時間為主)。

7. Students wishing to apply for credit transfer/exemption must submit an application within the period specified by University regulations during the semester of initial enrollment; applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted, and only one application is permitted (subject to the schedule announced by the Registration Division).

八、本所研究生各科學業成績以一百分為滿分，七十分為及格標準。不及格者不得補考；必修科目不及格者，須重修。

8. For all courses, graduate students of this Institute shall be graded on a 100-point scale, with 70 points as the passing standard. Failing grades may not be made up through a supplementary (make-up) exam; students who fail a required course must retake it.

九、本所研究生符合下列各項規定者，得申請碩士學位考試：

9. Graduate students of this Institute who meet all of the following requirements may apply to take the master's degree examination:

（一）修畢本所規定之學分者 (含當學期修習學分)。

(1) Have completed the credits prescribed by this Institute (including credits taken in the current semester).

（二）符合本所畢業門檻：

(2) Meet this Institute's graduation threshold requirements:

1.學術論文或技術報告發表（以下三擇一）：

1. Publication of an academic paper or technical report (choose one of the following three):

(1).以指導教授外之第一作者或通訊作者身分，發表與本所研究相關領域之著作，於具審查制度之學術期刊或學術/實務研討會發表論文乙篇以上。若有其他特殊發表類型須經所務會議審議通過。

(1) As the first author or corresponding author (other than the advising professor), publish at least one paper in a field related to this Institute's research, in a peer-reviewed academic journal or at an academic/professional conference. Other special types of publication require review and approval by an Institute Affairs Meeting.

(2).獲得國內知名公私立單位論文獎助。

(2) Receive a thesis research grant or award from a well-known public or private domestic institution.

(3).擔任經所務會議認可之本校專任教師之研究或產學合作計畫案助理，並實際參與研究累積一年以上。

(3) Serve as a research assistant on a research or industry-academia collaboration project of a full-time faculty member of the University recognized by an Institute Affairs Meeting, and actually participate in the research for at least one year.

2. Participation in academic or professional conferences.

出席本所研究相關領域且具論文發表之學術或實務研討會2場以上 (研討會所屬領域認定，由指導教授認定之)。

Attend at least two academic or professional conferences with paper presentations in a field related to this Institute's research (the field of the conference shall be determined by the advising professor).

以上二項皆須檢附證明文件。

Both of the above items require supporting documentation to be attached.

（三）經指導教授同意，並已於申請碩士學位考試前一學期通過論文計畫預備口試。

(3) With the consent of the advising professor, have passed the preliminary oral defense of the thesis proposal one semester prior to applying for the master's degree examination.

十、本所研究生須於修業期間內，完成學位考試，並須通過TOEIC600分以上，或「公務人員英語檢測陞任評分計分標準對照表」同等級數之相關英語檢測，或於第二學年之第二學期修習由本校開設之「英文檢定輔導」課程，通過課程考試者等同通過本所英文能力檢定。」，始得辦理離校手續。

10. Graduate students of this Institute must complete the degree examination within the study period and must pass TOEIC with a score of 600 or above, or an equivalent-level English proficiency test per the “Comparison Table of Scoring Standards for the English Proficiency Test for Promotion of Civil Servants,” or pass the examination for the “English Proficiency Remedial Course” offered by the University in the second semester of the second academic year (deemed equivalent to passing this Institute's English proficiency requirement), before completing graduation clearance (school-leaving) procedures.

十一、研究生之碩士學位考試，以口試為原則。學位考試委員會由委員三至五人組成之(含指導教授)，其中校外委員不得少於一人，共同指導教授得列入考試委員，惟除指導教授及共同指導教授外，其它考試委員至少二人。學位考試委員由所長徵詢指導教授意見後，簽請校長聘請之，並指定一人擔任考試委員召集人（指導教授不得擔任召集人），學位考試委員全體親自出席始得進行口試。研究生論文之完稿應確實遵照考試委員之決議修訂，最後經指導教授及所長同意後，始完成學位論文考試程序。

11. The master's degree examination for graduate students shall in principle be conducted as an oral examination. The Degree Examination Committee shall consist of three to five members (including the advising professor), of whom at least one shall be an external (off-campus) member; a co-advising professor may be included as a committee member, but aside from the advising professor and co-advising professor, at least two other committee members are required. Committee members shall be appointed by the University President upon the Director's request after consulting the advising professor, and one member shall be designated as the committee convener (the advising professor may not serve as convener). All committee members must attend in person for the oral examination to proceed. Revisions to the finalized thesis must strictly follow the committee's resolutions, and the thesis examination process is only complete once approved by both the advising professor and the Director.

十二、學位考試成績不及格者，若其修業年限尚未屆滿，得於次學期申請重考，惟重考以一次為限，重考成績仍不及格者，應予以退學。

12. If a student fails the degree examination and the study period has not yet expired, a retake may be requested in the following semester; only one retake is permitted. A student who fails the retake shall be dismissed from the program.

十三、研究生之學位論文若有抄襲或舞弊情事，經查確有侵害他人著作權之情事者，應以不及格論處。如已授予學位，應予公告撤銷並追繳已頒發之學位證書。

13. If a graduate student's thesis is found, upon investigation, to involve plagiarism or academic misconduct that infringes another's copyright, it shall be treated as a failing result. If the degree has already been conferred, it shall be publicly announced as revoked, and the issued degree certificate shall be reclaimed.

十四、本要點如有未盡事宜，悉依教育部及本校相關規定辦理之。

14. Any matters not covered by these Regulations shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and the University.

十五、本要點經所務會議、院務會議、教務會議通過後公告實施，修正時亦同。

15. These Regulations shall take effect upon approval at the Institute Affairs Meeting, College Affairs Meeting, and Academic Affairs Meeting, and the same procedure shall apply to any amendments.
